Leanne R. Hoffmann, PE, PP, CME
Hoffmann serves as President-chief Operating Officer at Atlantic Consulting Engineers. She has over twenty-six (26) years of experience in both the public and private sectors. She has worked as an appointed engineering consultant for multiple municipalities, an appointed in-house engineer, and a private design civil engineering consultant. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a separate Specialization in Construction Management. Ms. Hoffmann is a Licensed Professional Engineer, Licensed Professional Planner and a Certified Municipal Engineer.
Hoffmann started her career as a design professional and worked toward project manager and senior associate level of management. Early in her career she performed site inspections, board reviews, bond analysis and preparation, bond reductions, grading and utility plans, stormwater design, HEC-II analysis, septic design and multiple other facets of civil/site design.
Hoffmann earned the position of client manager for several municipal and private clients throughout the state. She has worked on both municipal capital projects and private residential and commercial development. Often the Municipal Capital Improvement projects consisted of grants and financing that she was an integral part in obtaining and managing.
On the private development side, Ms. Hoffmann managed multiple professional design teams to meet private client driven deadlines. This entailed managing multiple teams on multiple projects with different site development issues. Each design team had to be coordinated with survey, permitting, geotechnical, CADD and stormwater needs of each site. Her involved was often from feasibility studies, to conceptual design, investigatory work, preliminary and final design, planning testimony through to construction. She has worked on projects from Wildwood Crest in southern New Jersey to West New York in northern New Jersey. Her experience spans almost every County in New Jersey both on the public and private sector.
Leanne currently serves as President and Director of Operations for Atlantic Consulting Engineers. In this capacity, Ms. Hoffmann is responsible for client management, marketing and project deadlines. She is also in responsible charge Accounts Receivable and of Quality Control. Ms. Hoffmann oversees all Planning aspects of the firm. Ms Hoffmann also manages multiple design projects including staff oversight, subcontractor coordination, client meetings, and project completion.
Hoffmann was named “Young Engineer of the Year” in 1999 by the New Jersey Society of Professional Engineers. Some of her projects have been recognized by the engineering and planning community of New Jersey.
Robert J. Strang-Wolf, PE
Mr. Strang-Wolf serves as Vice President – Director of Engineering at Atlantic Consulting Engineers. He has over 28 years’ experience in all aspects of public infrastructure and private site development design and construction. Mr. Strang-Wolf has managed the design of projects for the New Jersey Department of Transportation, numerous Counties, Municipalities, and private sector clients. His expertise includes geometric designs of sites and highways; storm drainage design; construction traffic control; design of roadside safety improvements including attenuators and guide rail; utility location and relocation coordination; construction management; and preparation of right of way acquisition documents. He is well versed in NJDOT, AASHTO, MUTCD, RSIS, and NJDEP design standards and policies.
During his professional career, Mr. Strang-Wolf rose through the ranks beginning as a project engineer for land development sites, technical manager and project manager for various transportation departments and projects, and was selected as design engineer for a newly formed Special Projects Group for an $80 Million dollar reconstruction of NJ Turnpike interchange 13A. As a team member of this Special Projects Group, Robert also successfully served a supporting role to the Port Authority of NY/NJ as an on-site technical manager for the Newark Liberty Airport $3.8 Billion dollar reconstruction. Prior to founding Atlantic consulting Engineers, Mr. Strang-Wolf managed a highway engineering department managing in excess of $1 million dollars in contracts annually.
Robert currently serves as Vice-President and Director of Engineering for Atlantic Consulting Engineers. In this capacity, Mr. Strang-Wolf is responsible for the development of all civil engineering projects for the firm, coordination with all sub-consultants, and monitors design staff to ensure adherence to applicable standards. Mr. Strang-Wolf also provides Forensic/Expert Engineering analysis for clients whom are experiencing construction related issues on their projects or residences.
Mr. Strang-Wolf has managed and designed projects that have won industry merit awards for their innovation and design build aspects.
In April 2000, Mr. Strang-Wolf received the Outstanding Young Professional award from his working peers. This award is bestowed upon individuals who demonstrated excellence in their work product and the willingness to go above and beyond expectations in their performance.
