The Emerald-Wildwood Crest – New Jersey

Site engineer in charge of the Preliminary and Final Major Site Plan for a multi-story, residential multi-use building with parking garage on the first several floors.  This was a redevelopment of an existing hotel along the boardwalk in Wildwood, NJ. This project had to be constructed on a lot between existing structures.  Special attention was needed for the tight sight constraints for traffic flow, site grading and stormwater management.  Stormwater management was completed in conformance with NJDEP BMP’s.  A CAFRA permit was required entailed site specific setbacks along the beach front.  In addition historic preservation was an issue due to the existing uniqueness of the hotel facade and lobby area.  This required coordination and approval from SHPO.  Ms. Hoffmann provided testimony to the Land Use Board in support of the multiple site and bulk variances and the project received Preliminary and Final Major Site Plan approval.
